Entrepreneurs’ Organization member-owned companies representing 47 U.S. chapters rank among the country’s fastest-growing private businesses; seven earn spots in the top 100

16 August 2024 (Alexandria, Virginia, U.S.)- The Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) is proud to announce that 228 member-owned companies have been recognized on the prestigious Inc. 5000 list for 2024 – a nearly eight percent increase since 2023. The annual list celebrates the fastest-growing private companies in the United States, ranked by overall revenue growth over a three-year period, from 2020-2023.

The Inc. 5000 list, first launched in 1982 and curated annually by Inc. magazine, celebrates the remarkable growth and accomplishments of companies across industries. Among the 228 EO member-owned businesses making the Inc. 5,000 this year, seven were ranked in the nation’s top 100 privately listed companies. They are:

  • – #7 Adam Kroener, Co-founder of Carbliss Brands and first-year member of EO Wisconsin
  • – #28 Rachel Zillner, Co-founder of Clutch and first-year member of EO Sacramento
  • – #29 Robert Buffington, Founder of Gordian Staffing and first-year member EO Nebraska
  • – #31 Arthur Meyerovich, Founder of Forest Media Group and 16-year member of EO New York
  • – #44 Jessica Sturzenegger, Founder of Amara and first-year member of EO Philadephia
  • – #61 Brian Peters, Founder of Bucket List Events and a 15-year member of EO Austin
  • – #69 Turyan Rafaelli, Founding Partner of Slumber Stay and first-year member of EO Chicago

“EO is an organization purpose-built to help entrepreneurs unlock and achieve their full potential. Seeing nearly 74 percent of our U.S.-based chapters hosting an Inc. 5000 winner brings us immense joy,” said Dave Parker, EO’s Chief Executive, Global Board Director and serial tech entrepreneur. “It’s proof of the impact our members are having on their businesses, teams and communities.”

The EO-member-owned companies placing in this year’s Inc. 5000 represent more than 25 industries, including Food and Beverage, Human Resources, Business Products and Services, Legal, Telecommunications, Financial Services and Health Services, among others. The list features businesses owned by members from 47 of EO’s 64 chapters across the United States.

Companies on the 2024 Inc. 5000 are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2020 -- 2023. To qualify, companies were required to complete an application and meet criteria that included: being founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2020; being U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent as of December 31, 2023; and generating a minimum annual revenue of $2 million in 2023.

For the past 10 years, a diverse range of EO members have contributed their unique thought leadership and experiences to fellow entrepreneurs on Inc. through an EO-produced column that attracted more than 170,000 page views in 2023. EO Chief Marketing Officer Emily Carrion said, “An Inc. spotlight, whether in published article or in a competitive listing like the Inc. 5000, is considered by many in our community as a validation of their hustle and recognition of their success as entrepreneurs. It’s a badge of pride that all of us in EO share in and celebrate.”

Marking its 37th founding anniversary next month, EO is a global community of more than 18,000 successful entrepreneurs worldwide who belong in the network through one of its 222 chapters in 61 countries. Business owners gain access to EO membership through a competitive application process that requires a level of entrepreneurial achievement of US$1 million in annual gross revenues, US$2 million in privately raised capital, or US$5 million in publicly raised funds.
